Mademoiselle Voila Rosé, our first rosé wine from Bordeaux is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, which in the fields are cared for by having leaves around the grapes carefully pruned in early July for air to circulate and expose stems to sunlight.
The grapes are then harvested as per the lunar calendar, where juice is separated in stainless steel tanks, cooled and allowed to rest for a period of time. As temperatures rise the wine ferments, until bottled.
The scent is a little green, almost like gooseberries and in addition to raspberries, strawberry candies, maybe a little grape and sage, a little sharp, which fades out rather quickly.
An amazing 50% fruity 50% sexy, classic Vin de France.
